My gr.gr.gr.grandfather George Payne was also The Huntsman for Bramham Hunt, but I think he worked at the time for Lord Harewood rather than the Lane Foxes. The care of the hounds was transferred to the Lascelles for around 20 yrs. Martin Walkerly was also witness to George Payne's Wedding in Bramham Church. This is touched on in the book 'History of Bramham Hunt' 1896 by William Scarth Dixon.
